With over 10 years of experience, Dr Alan Reid is a trusted expert in skin cancer detection and care. He understands that early identification is crucial for successful treatment and has helped countless patients through timely detection and removal of skin cancers.

Dr Reid conducts thorough examinations of moles, lesions, and other skin changes, reviewing both personal and family medical histories to assess individual risk factors. His precision and expertise have earned the gratitude of patients who have benefited from early intervention, achieving the best possible outcomes. Committed to ongoing support, he provides guidance, follow-up, and preventive advice, ensuring each patient receives proactive care and confidence in their long-term skin health.

Sharon has been a dedicated nurse for over 40 years and has worked alongside Dr. Narita for more than 15 years, bringing a wealth of experience to the skin clinic. She is highly skilled in supporting skin examinations, procedures, and patient care, ensuring that every patient receives thorough, compassionate, and professional attention throughout their visit.

Dr. Alan Reid and his nurse, Sharon, are very experienced in this area and would be happy to take you through our skin scan process.

HOURS

  • Wednesdays 815AM – 200PM
  • Scheduled Saturdays 900AM – 1245PM

RATES

  • $160 – Initial Consult Fee
  • $84.90 – Medicare Rebate (for eligible patients)
  • $50 – A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure appointments, including those booked in advance.
  • All Saturday appointments are billed privately as above.
  • Fees for Procedures, Surgeries, and Biopsies, will be discussed with your Specialist at the time of you appointment. 
  • Bulk Billing is available only for:

    • Under 16 years of age
    • Over 65 years of age
    • DVA Gold Cardholders
    • DVA White Cardholders (for skin conditions)
    • Aged-Pension Cardholders

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Please provide at least 4 business hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations will result in forfeiture of your $50 deposit.
  • A $50 fee applies for missed appointments (no-shows/non-attendance). This fee is collected before booking another appointment.
  • This cancalletion policy is applicable to all patients including bulk billing patients listed above.
